Spreading Festive Cheer with a Thoughtful Christmas Tradition
Local home care provider Radfield Home Care York & Rural has brought an extra touch of Christmas cheer to the people it supports this festive season by delivering nearly 200 advent calendars to clients, Care Professionals, office staff and their young children.
The calendars were gifted to every client receiving visiting care or live in care across York and surrounding villages, as well as to all members of the Radfield care team and office staff. Children of staff were also included, helping to make the countdown to Christmas a little more magical for the wider Radfield family.
This festive initiative is part of the organisation’s commitment to delivering person centred care that goes beyond practical support to make people feel seen, appreciated and connected during the winter months.
“This is about more than chocolate,” said Ed Gill, Director of Radfield Home Care York & Rural. “It is a small but meaningful way to let people know they are valued and remembered. For our clients, it brings daily joy. For our Care Professionals, it is a token of appreciation for their compassion and dedication throughout the year.”
