Azure Care turned its Chatham office into a pop-up spa, treating its care team to facials, hand treatments and a gift to take home.

Azure Care’s Care Practitioners spend their days looking after other people, so this October, the team decided it was their turn.

The home care provider, based at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, turned its office into a little spa for the afternoon. Catherine from Tropic Skincare came in with a table full of products, and the team took it in turns to have mini facials and hand treatments. Everyone who had a treatment went home with a Tropic gift box as well, which went down very well.

It was a simple thing, but it meant a lot. Home care is skilled, physical and emotionally demanding work, and the people who do it rarely get the chance to sit down and be looked after themselves.

Kiran Gill, Director and Co-Founder of Azure Care, said: “Our Care Practitioners are skilled professionals who give so much of themselves to our clients. Looking after them isn’t a nice extra for us, it really matters. It was lovely to see everyone properly relaxed for once, chatting and laughing in between treatments.”
