New Accessible Minibus to Support Activities and Community Connections
The vehicle will support residents at Newgate Lodge Care Home and Lowmoor Nursing Home, as well as people receiving care and support in their own homes. It will provide greater opportunities to enjoy activities, outings and events across Mansfield, Ashfield and beyond.
The new minibus reflects Lidder Care’s commitment to enriching lives, promoting independence and helping the people it supports remain connected with their local communities.

The vehicle has already made a positive impact, with residents from Newgate Lodge Care Home enjoying its first outing to Titchfield Park in Mansfield.
By investing in dedicated accessible transport, Lidder Care aims to remove some of the barriers that can prevent older people and those with additional needs from accessing the places, people and experiences they enjoy.
Community outings form an important part of Lidder Care’s person-centred approach, helping to promote independence, reduce social isolation and support people to continue living fulfilling and enriched lives.
