Rememberance Sunday was a truly special day for everyone at Lougher Home Care as we were honoured to invite one of our remarkable clients, Wilfred, to lay our wreath of remembrance at the Magor cenotaph.

At 100 years old, Wilfred has lived through two world wars and carries with him the quiet dignity and strength of a generation that witnessed history firsthand. Representing Lougher Homecare at this year’s remembrance service, Wilfred laid the wreath with grace and pride - a moving tribute to all those who served and sacrificed.

Joining us for the occasion was Wilfred’s daughter, who beamed with pride as she watched her father take part in the ceremony. “I’m bursting with pride,” she said.

We are incredibly proud to have Wilfred as part of our Lougher Home Care family and deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue our annual tradition of remembrance alongside such an inspiring gentleman.
