Azure Care Celebrates Outstanding CQC Rating with Clients and Staff
Azure Care recently brought together clients, families and staff for a joyful celebration following its Care Quality Commission (CQC) Outstanding rating, marking a proud moment for everyone involved in the organisation.
The Medway-based home care provider, currently the only domiciliary care provider in the area with an overall Outstanding rating, hosted a small celebration where clients and carers came together to share food, cake and good company. The event gave clients an opportunity to spend time with the care team outside of their usual visits and celebrate the achievement together.
It has been a tremendous year of recognition for Azure Care. Alongside its Outstanding CQC rating, the organisation was also named a finalist for Outstanding Home Care Provider of the Year at the recent Home Care Awards, reflecting the continued commitment of the team to delivering high-quality care.
One highlight of the afternoon was a lively dance-off, which has become something of a tradition at Azure Care celebrations. Members of the care team delighted clients by showing off dance moves inspired by their different cultural backgrounds, bringing laughter and energy to the room.

Radfield Home Care named “Most Outstanding Home Care Network” at 2026 Home Care Awards
The award was presented at a glittering awards ceremony at the National Conference Centre on Friday, March 6.
Dr Hannah MacKechnie, Managing Director, and Phil MacKechnie, Director of Franchise Development, accepted the award on behalf of the Radfield Home Care network.
In addition to the national award, the local office, Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield, was recognised as the Best Individual Home Care Franchise within a Network 2026.

Founded on more than 40 years of family-run care experience, Radfield Home Care began on the banks of the River Severn and has grown to over 35 offices across England.
With a focus on quality private care, this is not the first time Radfield has been recognised as the UK’s top home care group, winning the same award three years ago in 2023. The network has also been recognised for its approach to training and development, receiving the Princess Royal Training Award in both 2022 and 2025.
