The programme taps into the knowledge and networks of well-connected, trusted individuals in local communities. Ambassadors play a vital role in supporting families, providing guidance on care options and ensuring that older adults receive the right support at the right time.

As the UK population ages and demand for high-quality home care grows, families are increasingly seeking trusted advice and guidance to navigate complex later life decisions. The Community Ambassador Programme is an innovative approach, drawing on the power of local advocates to connect families with professional care, raise awareness of home care options and build stronger community support networks.

“Our Community Ambassador Programme aims to empower communities to navigate later life with confidence, creating meaningful connections and championing compassionate care at a local level,” explains Cameron Young, CEO of Trinity Homecare. “In a sector where trust and personal recommendation are paramount, this initiative brings a fresh, human-focused approach.”

Ambassadors engage with their communities through informal conversations, events and local outreach, sharing advice and raising awareness of Trinity Homecare’s services. In recognition of their efforts, ambassadors receive a discretionary reward for each referral that results in a new client, all at their own pace with no fixed hours or formal commitments.

Since its launch, the programme has attracted individuals passionate about improving the lives of older adults. By connecting families with professional, person-centred care, Trinity Homecare is strengthening community support networks, encouraging informed decision-making and setting a new standard for community-led care initiatives.
