The awarding places it among the top 4% of home care providers in England - one of the first home care providers to achieve this under the CQC’s new Single Assessment Framework.

Following a recent inspection of its Live-in Homecare service, the CQC praised Trinity Homecare for delivering exceptional, person-centred care, highlighting the service’s excellence in leadership and the compassionate, personalised support it provides. Inspectors found that Trinity Homecare consistently supports people’s independence, ambitions, and quality of life through innovative, caring and empowering practices.

Cameron Young, CEO of Trinity Homecare Group, said:

“We are incredibly proud that Trinity Homecare’s live-in service has achieved an Outstanding rating from the CQC. Less than 4% of homecare providers in England have managed to achieve this rating – and to do so under the new framework is testament to the commitment, hard work and expertise of our exceptional team.

“Day in and day out, our entire business and amazing carers put the quality of our care above everything else. They go above and beyond to enrich the lives of our clients and help them thrive at home. So, this recognition is dedicated to our carers and team – it is something they should each be personally really proud of!”

Significance of the New Single Assessment Framework

Introduced to strengthen and standardise assessments across England, the CQC’s new Single Assessment Framework places greater emphasis on people’s real experiences of care, safety through learning, and the drive for continuous improvement. Services are assessed against new Quality Statements, with a sharper focus on personalisation, inclusion, collaboration, and leadership.

Trinity’s achievement under this more rigorous framework further highlights the organisation’s leading role in shaping the future of outstanding homecare.

The CQC Inspection Praised Trinity Homecare for:

• Highly personalised, ambition-led care, enabling people to achieve personal goals and live purposeful lives
• Strong, inclusive leadership, promoting a culture of openness, learning and continuous improvement
• Innovative use of technology, including an AI-powered physiotherapy programme that enhanced rehabilitation at home
• Exceptional staff culture, where carers felt supported, valued, and empowered to succeed
• Commitment to safety and safeguarding, while preserving people’s independence and dignity

Antoinette Smith, CQC Deputy Director of Operations in London, said:

“When we inspected Trinity Homecare, we found a care agency delivering an outstanding person-centred service, where the unique needs and aspirations of each person shaped their care. Every part of the organisation worked together to provide care that reflected people’s needs and personal goals.”

The CQC report also highlighted Trinity Homecare’s collaborative work with healthcare professionals, its use of accessible care planning tools, and its celebration of diversity and inclusion across the service.

Carla Gama, Head of Operations at Trinity Homecare, added:

“This Outstanding achievement reflects the deep relationships we build with the people we support, and the positive, empowering culture we nurture within our teams.

Every member of our team is passionate about delivering life-enhancing care, and we are thrilled to see our commitment recognised by the CQC.”
