Prompt Healthcare are proud to share a client success story, coutesy of a testimony from a Housing Support Manager who over the years has seen the change in an adult we have supported in the last 3-years.

Rachael regulary visits the Prompt Healthcare office and finds the environment to be a place where she can feel relaxed, tell us how her week has been and off-load any issues she has.

This additional support from the office is a bonus support for Rachael, and we can quickly pick up when things are not going well for Rachel.

The Housing Support Manager where Rachael lives shared the following feedback on how valuable this arragement has been:

''Rachael has been picking up her cash allowance from the service at Pipps Hill for over a year now, and it has proved to be a very successful arrangement.

Rachael had lost her faith in the Essex Guardianship system, after an issue which effected the loss of her own cash bank card and pin and took some time to put in a new system.

Prompt Healthcare and we worked together to try to move the process along as quickly as possible but once embedded the system has worked smoothly. MTVH staff initially accompanied Racheal to the office but only several times as she readily picked up the location and route. Rachael enjoys going to collect her money and states she likes the staff in the office, they always have a chat with her and she feels comfortable around them.

Prompt healthcare were extremely accommodating with taking on Rachael’s cash allowance payments and it helps they also provide Rachael with several hours of support a week too. When events are held in the office Rachael readily attends. Rachael can be reserved around people and does not relax easily but the staff are patient, have got to know Rachael and made her feel valued and she has responded.

From an MTVH perspective Amna and the rest of the Prompt Healthcare Team have always kept up a dialogue with our supported housing service and we have worked together in partnership to support Rachael.''
