Home Instead Salford and Worsley hosted two fabulous events as part of Dementia Action Week.

“Motown Night” in collaboration with local Salford Charity “Dancing with Dementia”

Organized in collaboration with the local charity Dancing with Dementia. The event was very well attended, featuring lots of dancing, sing-alongs, raffles, and prizes. It was a fully inclusive occasion, welcoming individuals affected by dementia, their friends, families, and the broader community. Home Instead Salford contributed decorations, raffle prizes, and a few of our team members even participated in the dancing. “Oh What a Night” - it was a truly lovely event.

"Time for A Cuppa" Event for Dementia UK

In addition, we hosted a "Time for A Cuppa" event in support of Dementia UK. We set up a stall outside our local church on polling day and opened our office, conveniently located across the road, for people to enjoy a slice of cake and a hot beverage. The Wardley community's support was overwhelming, and we raised £200 for this meaningful cause.
