Scottish Government launch support to help displaced careworkers relocate

The Scottish Government has allocated £500,000 to a new offer to support international careworkers affected by sponsorship licence revocations in England to relocate to Scotland. The Scottish Government hope that this will help to address staffing shortages in the Scottish care sector. The Scottish Government has raised concerns with the UK Government about its policy decision to close the Skilled Worker route to careworkers, which is having a detrimental affect on the health and care sector in Scotland.
