Revised care at home guidance issued in Scotland

The Scottish Government has issued revised Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance for care at home, housing support and supported housing. There is an accompanying letter from Care Inspectorate dated 29 April 2022 explaining the changes.

The move came as COVID-19 restrictions were lifted in Scotland for the public, with revised 'stay at home' guidance replacing self-isolation rules.

Infection control and prevention measures continue for care at home providers.  The guidance now refers to  the extended set of symptoms for the Omicron variant of COVID-19.  Testing guidance has changed to make it clear that twice weekly LFD tests are now considered sufficient.
