Restrictions in Wales following 9 November

The First Minister has confirmed that new nation-wide restrictions will be introduced in Wales following the end of the fire-break lockdown on 9 November.

Here are some of the key points:

  • 2 households will be able to join together to form a bubble/extended household and meet each other inside.
  • It will be possible to meet indoors in other hospitality settings, but this is being given further consideration in light of the lockdown in England.
  • Businesses and places of worship will reopen on 9 November, as will schools.
  • People will still be asked to work from home where possible.
  • Whilst there will be no travel restrictions inside Wales, no travel outside Wales will be permitted without reasonable excuse.
