Reform of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 TUPE
The Department for Business and Trade have issued a public consultation on reforming the legislation around Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (TUPE). This is part of a wider review of legislation that was implmented in line with EU regulations to determine whether changes should be made post-Brexit.
The consultation covers:

reaffirming that only employees are protected by The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE)

removing the complex obligation to split employees’ contracts between multiple employers where a business is transferred to more than one new business

abolishing the legal framework for European Works Councils
