NICE Consultation: Aggressive behaviour in people receiving NHS or social care
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has begun developing a new Quality Standard on aggressive behaviour in people receiving NHS or social care. The guidance will replace the existing standard on violent and aggressive behaviours in people with mental health problems (QS154), with publication expected in January 2027.
The public consultation on the draft standard will run from 19 August to 16 September 2026, providing stakeholders with an opportunity to help shape future best practice across health and social care services.
