AI to flag NHS patient safety concerns in real time.

The Department of Health and Social Care will develop a new AI early warning system to identify safety concerns across the NHS, as part of the 10 Year Health Plan. The technology will scan health systems in real-time to flag patient safety issues and trigger earlier inspections, helping to stop failures before they escalate. Learn more here.

NHS to bring healthcare closer to home with new Neighbourhood Health Services.

The Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Keir Starmer MP announced that as part of the 10 Year Health Plan, the Government will roll out Neighbourhood Health Services across the country. New Neighbourhood Health Centres will provide a range of services, including diagnostics, mental health support, post-operative care and rehabilitation.

National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) appoints a new Life Sciences Industry Director.
