New web resource on Employment Rights Act
The Department for Business and Trade has launched a new web resource for employers and individuals on the upcoming legal changes coming as part of the new Employment Rights Act.
The first set of legal changes (on Industrial Action in Trade Unions) are coming into force this month (February 2026). The next wave of changes will come into force in April 2026 and will include changes to Statutory Sick Pay, parental leave and more.
