New grants for those self isolating in Scotland

Applications open on 12th October 2020 for a new grant for those self isolating. Eligible people on low incomes will receive a £500 grant if asked to self isolate.

The grant is targeted at people in receipt of Universal Credit or legacy benefits, with some discretion to make awards to others in financial hardship. The grants will be delivered through the existing Scottish Welfare Fund, which is administered by local authorities.
