New chapter begins as an Employee Ownership Trust

We are delighted to announce that Gracious Care has transitioned to employee ownership through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

This is an exciting milestone in the journey of Gracious Care and reflects something we have always believed: our people are at the heart of everything we do.

An Employee Ownership Trust means that a controlling interest in Gracious Care is held through a trust for the benefit of our employees. It provides a long-term ownership structure designed to give our people a greater stake in the organisation and a stronger voice in its future. 

Why employee ownership?

Gracious Care has grown because of the commitment, compassion and professionalism of our team. Moving to employee ownership is a way of recognising that contribution and ensuring that our people remain central to the organisation as we look ahead.

We believe this new structure will help us:

• Strengthen employee involvement and engagement.
• Build on the values and culture that make Gracious Care special.
• Encourage our people to have a greater voice in the future direction of the organisation.
• Support sustainable, long-term growth.
• Continue providing outstanding care and support to the people and families who rely on us.

Employee ownership is not simply a change in ownership structure. It is a commitment to our people and to the future of Gracious Care.

Our commitment remains exactly the same: to provide compassionate, high-quality care, to treat every individual with dignity and respect, and to continue building trusted relationships within the communities we serve.

The transition to employee ownership gives us an opportunity to build on what has already been achieved while creating an even stronger foundation for the years ahead.
