MPs find pandemic is impacting on normal NHS services

The Health and Social Care Committee's report '˜Delivering core NHS and care services during the pandemic and beyond' concludes the patient experience has been unacceptably poor for some patients requiring normal NHS services in England.

Inadequate communication, nationally and locally, have added to people's stress; some people have been left thinking the NHS is not working on routine non-COVID conditions, or are worried about going into hospitals where there could be a risk of catching COVID-19.
