MPs call for urgent social care funding and ten year strategy

The Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee have published their report on Adult Social Care Funding. In it they call for immediate in-year funding to meet unmet need and rising costs; billions of additional funding for the sector on an annual basis; a ten year strategy (including a workforce strategy) and greater parity with the NHS.
