The ministerial portfolios have been announced for the Department of Health and Social Care:
Alison McGovern MP (pictured) is Minister of State for Social Care, responsible for adult social care, hospital discharge, frailty and dementia, end of life and palliative care, disabilities and special educational needs, and mental health.
The Rt Hon Dame Diana Johnson DBE MP is Minister of State for Public Health and Patient Safety and responsible for general practice, neighbourhood health, community healthcare, pharmacy and children’s healthcare.
