We are delighted to announce that Homecare Association CEO Dr Jane Townson has won the Outstanding Individual of the Year category at the Home Care Awards 2022. 

The Home Care Awards aim to be the annual benchmark of excellence for UK companies and organisations providing all forms of care at home services.

Commenting on Jane's award, Homecare Association Chair Dominique Kent said: 

"This award could not go to a more deserving individual. Jane has worked tirelessly since becoming CEO for our Association. Her relentless determination before, throughout and since the pandemic has been pivotal in addressing the issues our sector faces. Jane has parachuted homecare into the public domain by highlighting the challenges we face whilst showcasing the great work our wonderful membership organisations do. Jane ensured, through her partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care, that homecare was thought about every step of the way to enable us to keep citizens safe as we faced some of the biggest issues and challenges, we have ever had to address.

Jane has shown great leadership. She has really listened to our provider members. We wouldn't have achieved the platform we have for homecare had Jane not been at the helm of the Association."

Congratulations too to our provider members for their nominations including: A Class Care, Ashridge Home Care (High commendation for Best Independent Home Care Provider), Bluebird Care (Docklands, Stratford and Wapping won the Best for Mental Health and Dementia Care Expertise award), Consultus Care & Nursing (High Commendation in Best for Training and Development Expertise), CSN Care Group, ENA Care Group (High Commendation, Best Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation Expertise), Home Instead (The Dartford branch won Best for Team Support Expertise, Staff Wellbeing), Kingsway Care (Best Start-Up Home Care Service or New Franchise), Lifted (Won the Best Innovative Technology Expertise), Mumby's Live in Care (Won the Best Live-In Care Expertise award), Oxford Aunts, Promedica24 (High Commendation, Best Live-In Care Expertise), Radfield Home Care (The Wakefield & District branch won the Best Response to the Pandemic award), Right at Home (Winner of the Outstanding Homecare Provider of the Year, Lucy Campbell won Best Marketing Expertise), The Good Care Group (Best for Training and Development Expertise) and many more.

The event is also supported by Homecare Association affiliate members CarePlanner, Mia Care and Unique IQ.
