Increased border controls and travel restrictions
Those wishing to leave the UK will now need to declare a reason for travel. There will be increased police enforcement at ports and airports and those without a valid reason for travel will be directed to return home and may be fined.
Those arriving in the UK from countries with international travel bans will be asked to isolate in hotels. The police will be undertaking increased checks to ensure people are self isolating as required.
