Home Office and DHSC to work together to improve protection for people abused, or at risk of abuse, in their own home
The Home Office and DHSC have undertaken a review to identify actions that can be taken to better protect people who are at risk of abuse in their own homes from people who support them. This focuses on three themes:

Strengthening accountability and oversight mechanisms to better protect and support victims.

Strengthening training and guidance so this type of harm and relevant legislative protections are better understood by frontline professionals.
