Further national measures to address rising cases of coronavirus in England
The Government announced on 22 September 2020 further measures to address the increasing cases of coronavirus.
The latest announcement covers:
- Face coverings
- Working from home
- Hospitality and leisure businesses
- Meeting people safely.

These are in addition to the announcement made on 21 September 2020 to support and enforce self-isolation.
These measures apply to England - but there may be different rules if you live in an area under local lockdown: and you should check local lockdown rules. If you are in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, different rules apply.
