Further areas in England moved to Tier 4 from Boxing Day

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has announced that several areas in the East and South East of England will be moving from Tier 3 to Tier 4 on 26 December in order to address rising case numbers due to the new strain of the virus.

In addition, some other parts of the country will be increasing from Tier 1 to Tier 2 or Tier 2 to Tier 3.
