The Rayne Foundation is working alongside shortlisted organisations to develop proposals for Better Careers for Better Care, to support workforce development across the adult social care sector.
The foundation announced an open call for expressions of interest between November 2023 – January 2024, with £2 million in funding available.
Funding was only available to organisations in England, but there is the aim to fund programmes in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland in the future.
Now Susan O’Sullivan, Head of Grants, has written a blog outlining what was learnt from the expressions of interest, the themes of the bids involved, how to take a more strategic approach to funding and the next steps for the project.
