Flu vaccinations for care workers: Briefing from the Care Provider Alliance

This briefing from the Care Provider Alliance (of whom UKHCA are members) aims to support care managers, occupational health leads, team leaders and care service owners to maximise take up of the flu vaccine by their eligible staff.

It covers both residential and community-based services that are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Unregulated services may also find the briefing valuable.

The briefing provides examples of how to arrange occupational health schemes, or access the NHS complementary scheme, as well as how to monitor and report on progress. It includes a template letter to support identification as a care worker.
