First 27 Neighbourhood Health Centre sites identified

The Government has confirmed the sites for the first 27 Neighbourhood Health Centres, which will form part of its pledge to roll out 250 Centres as part of its NHS 10-year plan. The first 27 sites will initially combine a wider range of health services in one place, such as pharmacies, audiology, blood tests, diagnostics, physiotherapy and GP services (the exact makeup will depend on the specific site). The aim will be to integrate other social services over time (we await further details on how and when this will link to social care). The new centres will open in 2027.
