The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) published the Digital Inclusion Action Plan – First Steps in February 2025. It highlights the need for locally delivered, highly tailored and targeted interventions that meet the needs of digitally excluded people.
As part of the Action Plan, the Department has allocated £7.2 million in funding to support eligible stakeholders across England, providing a range of individual grants to fund locally delivered, highly tailored and targeted interventions that meet the needs of digitally excluded people.
Any funding awarded will only be available to be claimed in the financial year up to 31 March 2026. The deadline for applications is 3pm on 10 September 2025. Click here to learn more.
