Age Well Barnet 2026 brings the community together
Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley and Radfield Home Care Camden, Islington & Haringey co-hosted an Age Well community day at Glebelands Indoor Bowls Club, bringing older adults, families, carers and local organisations together.
The event aimed to help local residents discover the services, activities and support available across Barnet and the surrounding area, while providing an opportunity to meet others in the community.
The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Zahra Beg, attended the event, meeting local residents and exhibitors and taking part in a game of indoor bowls.
Attendees also enjoyed chair yoga, tea and cake, indoor bowls and a live magic performance, alongside opportunities to speak directly with local organisations and find out more about the support available in the area.
The event also raised funds for Age UK Barnet through a raffle, supporting its work with older people in the local community.
The day brought together a range of local organisations, charities, healthcare professionals, community services and volunteers, helping to strengthen connections between residents and the services available to them.
The organisers thanked Glebelands Indoor Bowls Club, participating organisations, volunteers, performers and everyone who attended for helping to make the event a success.
