David Beattie

Founder and Managing Director, Care Ideals

David Beattie has worked in health and social care for 23 years. From 2002 – 2014 he delivered positive change and growth to various large mental health and learning disability operations.

Since the beginning of 2015, David and Care Ideals have supported a wide range of care homes, domiciliary care providers, nursing homes and supported living services. Their input includes but isn’t limited to: 

  • increasing occupancy and weekly hours.
  • improving profitability and margins.
  • helping to make quality assurance and compliance more robust.

In addition to this operational and care delivery support, David is also focused on helping to upskill managers in social care, via the 6-day Care Ideals “Management Development Programme” and the 1-day “Run a Care Business, not a care service” course.
