This year, we will be holding a live on-line hustings event as part of the Board election process. The purpose is to give members the opportunity to hear from nominees about why they have put themselves forward and what they feel they can offer as a Board member. For nominees, it is an opportunity to gather support from voting members.
The live on-line hustings event will take place from 0900-1100 on Wednesday 29 September 2021.
Each nominee will be asked to address the Homecare Association’s membership for 5 minutes without slides which will be followed by a facilitated Q&A session.
The address should cover the following:
- The nominee's current role, background and experience
- Which organisation the nominees represent and what it does
- Why do the nominees want to be elected to the Board of the Homecare Association
- What nominees believe they can contribute to the work of the Homecare Association
The hustings will commence with Band 1 nominees and then Band 3 nominations. Each band’s nominations will be asked to speak in alphabetical order :-
