This train the trainer course has been created specifically for the homecare sector.
The training will support homecare providers to ensure best practice when training their staff to deliver high quality care to service users who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of developing dementia, and their family and carers.
The training will support homecare providers to:

- Learn how to ensure their staff deliver high quality care to service users who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of developing dementia, their family and carers.
- Explore all aspects of care and support as covered in "The well pathway for dementia".
All attendees will receive a detailed and comprehensive dementia care training pack, which includes a trainer’s handbook, PowerPoint presentations, exercises, handouts and competency tests.
