Winter Plan - Sign up for Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)
UKHCA is encouraging all members to register with the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) by 30th September 2020. If you have already registered on the DSPT, you do not need to do anything. If you are not CQC-registered, you do not have to complete the DSPT but may choose to do so as good practice.
Although not mandatory, CQC expects registered care providers in England to register with DSPT. The government has also asked providers to engage with the DSPT as part of the Winter Plan for adult social care.
