Wales: Draft National Strategy for Unpaid Carers
The Welsh Government has launched a consultation to update their national strategy for unpaid carers.
The consultation covers:
- Identification, recognition and awareness of unpaid carers
- Access to services
- Young carers
- Financial hardship
- Paid employment
- Replacement care (respite) and breaks from caring
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Carers and care planning
The consultation is open until 13 April 2026.
