This reflects changes implemented as a result of the Employment Rights Act 2025; key provisions on industrial action came into force on 18 February 2026, including around:
- Turnout and support thresholds
- Provision of information to union members
- Provision of information to employers
- Notice of industrial action
- Period after which ballot loses validity
- Union supervision of picketing
- Protection against dismissal for industrial action
- Repeal of minimum service level legislation (as of December)
