Statistics on Community Care published in Northern Ireland

The Department of Health has published statistics on provision of community care in Northern Ireland. For homecare, the statistics show that on average, 23,425 clients, received homecare during the survey week Survey Week, 8th - 14th September 2019. This has remained relatively constant over the last 5 years.

Trend analysis in the 2019 NI Domiciliary Care Annual Survey publication presents an increasing pattern of '0-15', and '16-30' min visits, and decreasing trend in '30+' min visits.

An 8% increase was observed in the number of regional homecare hours delivered in 2019 compared to 2015.
