Proposed changes to COVID-19 related requirements on providers in Wales

The Welsh Government are consulting on the removal of coronavirus-related amendments to the requirements on adult care home and homecare providers. The proposed removal would  take place on 31 October 2022.

These temporary changes were intended to support local authorities, health boards, care home and domiciliary support providers in the provision of emergency social care for adults, where this was required as a result of the spread of coronavirus.  Also to ease requirements on adult care home and domiciliary support services in relation to documents to be held about people working at the service and to the accommodation of adults in shared rooms.

You can find the consultation documents and respond to the consultation via this link.

Deadline for responses is 18 July
