The Care Workers’ Charity is celebrating its eighth year of recognising the contributions of care workers across the UK.
From Friday 12 – Friday 19 September, The Care Workers’ Charity will host a series of in-person events, virtual panels and information sessions led by careworkers, care managers and influential figures from across the sector.
Our Chief Executive, Dr Jane Townson OBE, will be part of the panel discussion: Looking Ahead: The Future of Adult Social Care, on Monday 15 September from 10-am-11am. Click here to attend.
On Friday 19 September, we’re calling on all sector colleagues to Wear it Orange, as a way to show support for careworkers who dedicate their lives to looking after others. Care providers can support by:
- Dressing in orange: Wear your boldest orange outfit on the day.
- Host an orange-themed event: Organise a dress-up day, bake sale or office competition.
- Enter the Care Workers’ Charity prize draw: Details below.
- Spreading the word: Share your photos and stories on social media using #WearItOrangeforCWC.
- Donating: Every contribution helps provide emergency grants and support to care workers in need.
