From the Department of Health and Social Care:

The latest phase of the Department of Health and Social Care’s national adult social care recruitment campaign - ‘Made with Care’ is live from now until March 2022.

With a significant advertising spend, the campaign materials are appearing across England and reaching millions of potential job seekers. The increased awareness of the adult social care sector will support care providers across the country in recruiting the dedicated staff they need by helping to position adult social care as an emotionally rewarding job where they can empower others to lead fulfilling lives.

‘Made with Care’ advertising directs jobseekers to adultsocialcare.co.uk, where they can search and apply for social care vacancies. Here, they will be able to find everything they need to research a career in adult social care and, crucially, search and apply for adult social care jobs near them through DWP ‘Find a Job’.

Finding the right candidates made easy

The campaign website houses a search function that pulls adult social care vacancies through from DWP ‘Find a Job’, to make them easier for job seekers to find and apply to.

During the last phase of the campaign there was a 70% increase in the number of users searching for jobs on the campaign website, showing that potential candidates who visit adultsocialcare.co.uk are highly motivated to apply for jobs.

Therefore, it’s vital that you advertise your vacancies on DWP ‘Find a Job’ as this will allow them to be easily found by candidates with the right values. Posting your jobs is simple and quick to do. Just remember to use the term ‘social care’ in your job descriptions and categorise them under ‘Healthcare and Nursing’ to make sure they’ll be seen on the campaign website.
