NMC: Practice learning review consultation
The NMC is consulting on Nursing and Midwifery education standards with a particular focus on practice learning placements. This could reduce the number of hours that student nurses are required to be on placement and look for ways to increase the quality of placements. Nurses working in social care may be interested in participating. You can find the consultation here. The consultation is open until 23 July 2026.
