Pay in the adult social care sector

Skills for Care has published their annual Social Care Pay report, which provides an overview of the pay rates in the sector from 2023.  The report found that 69% of care workers were paid under the next National Living Wage of £11.44, which comes into effect from 1 April 2014.

One-off payment for 27,000 health workers.

Community nurses, sexual health workers, speech-and-language therapists, physiotherapists, and other frontlines are set to receive the payments (up to £3,000) in the next few months.
