New best practice guidance for handling self-funder complaints

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has launched a new toolkit to support providers to respond well to complaints (particularly for people who fund their own care). The best practice resources include an interactive quiz to benchmark your complaints policy, a toolkit so that you can become complaints confident and Frequently Asked Questions.

The toolkit includes template letters, complaints policies and materials such as a poster and leaflet.
