National Care Service (Scotland) Bill

The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee of the Scottish Parliament are seeking views on the National Care Service (Scotland) Bill.

Amongst other things,  the Bill would allow the Scottish Government to transfer responsibility for social care from local authorities to a new National Care Service; introduce the right to breaks for unpaid carers and allow the transfer of information between care services and the NHS.
