Local Resilience Forums - update

The emergency PPE supply channel to Local Resilience Forums will come to an end on 11 September, the Department for Health and Social Care has confirmed.

Local Resilience Forums are considering how best to ensure ongoing resilience. An additional delivery of PPE from the Department for Health and Social Care will be provided to Local Resilience Forums to ensure that there are reserves in case of an emergency increase in demand. A statement of intent has been released about the storage and use of any local reserve or stockpile.

As we reported previously, from 1 September adult social care providers will be able to order emergency PPE via the PPE Portal.
