JCVI advice on autumn COVID boosters

Yesterday, the MHRA approved the first bivalent vaccine which includes both the Omicron BA.1 strain and the original 2020 variant.

The JCVI subsequently updated their advice on COVID booster vaccines for this autumn. The JCVI advise that all of the available vaccines (including the new bivalent one and previously approved single variant vaccines) provide a high level of protection and are suitable for use in this round of vaccinations.
