HMRC webinars on Statutory Sick Pay and Parental Leave
HMRC are hosting webinars to support employers with their compliance around Statutory Sick Pay and Parental Leave. Please note that these are to do with your compliance today and not related to upcoming changes in the Employment Rights Bill.
The Statutory Sick Pay webinar will take place on Friday 21st November at 13.45 and Thursday 27th November at 11.45.
It will cover It will cover the qualifying conditions and paying SSP. It will also cover how SSP is affected by:
- Company sick pay
- Holidays and Bank holidays
- Agency, casual and term-time workers
- What happens if not entitled to SSP
- The records you need to keep
The webinar on parental leave will take place on Tuesday 25th November at 9.45 and Friday 28 November at 11.45
