Help Social Care Wales get an accurate understanding careworker pay
Social Care Wales have commissioned the Institute of Public Care to undertake some research for them on how pay varies by role, experience, qualifications and care setting and how it influences recruitment, retention and job satisfaction.
Good data about pay will be key as employer organisations make representations to the Welsh Government about the work of the Social Care Fair Work Forum and the future Fair Pay negotiations. It is important that this data includes a good sample of social care employers so that future Welsh Government decisions take current financial realities into account.
