Health Service Procurement in Wales

The Welsh Government are undertaking a consultation on health service procurement in Wales and whether this should function in the same way as the Provider Selection Regime in England.

It is not intended that this would apply to stand-alone social care services. However, if a service were to be procured which included some social care elements alongside healthcare elments i.e. as a 'mixed procurement' the new provisions might apply.
